OpsSystebsi_for_newsms (UK) Ltd. is proud to announce that it has gained ISO 9001:2008 Certification, effective 27 January 2010.

The ISO 9001 standard, established by the International Standards Organisation, is a quality management system that sets a global standard for manufacturing and quality assurance processes and ensures a company's products and services are among the best in the world.

To qualify for ISO 9001 Certification, OpsSystems met stringent standards in quality management systems, management responsibility, resource management, product realisation, and measurement analysis and improvement. ISO 9001 certification recognises OpsSystem design and development skills in providing specialised footwear to the military and emergency services.

"Achieving ISO 9001 certification is huge for a company that is developing as quickly as ours," said John Carpenter, Sales & Marketing Director at OpsSystems. "As any business that has been through the process knows, achieving ISO 9001 certification is demanding. Each individual, operation and process must be dedicated to the pursuit of quality. By evaluating our business at every level, we assure our customers that we are committed to providing them with superior customer service and the highest quality products."

"Today more and more companies and organisations, such as the Ministry of Defense, are requiring that their suppliers demonstrate a commitment to quality," Carpenter said. "As a young design and development company focused on consistently delivering top-quality products and service, we pursued ISO 9001 certification because it is internationally recognised and provides proof to our customers that we have one of the highest levels of quality management a company can achieve. It shows our determination to build the company as we mean to go on."
